One of our clients, an international company, is looking for a General Ledger Accountant for a temporary replacement of maternity leave.
Principal accountabilities and duties

- Prepare month end journals and accruals
- Prepare month end closing via reporting tool
- Prepare depreciation files
- Prepare reports (weekly & monthly)
- Assist the Finance Manager to prepare annual accounts
- Assist the Finance Manager with the audit
- Assist the Finance Manager to prepare the tax declaration
- Follow up and reconcile all the balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
- Analysis and prepare comments on the monthly reports
- VAT declaration on a monthly basis
- Prepare and input of Intercompany invoices
- Payroll reconciliation
- Intercompany reconciliation
- Ensure month end deadlines are met
- Prepare ad hoc reports as requested

Profile

- You have a bachelor in Economics / Accounting and a relevant experience in accounting
- You have good knowledge of English and a basic knowledge of French & Dutch
- You are a team player
- You work accurate & precise
- You are IT-oriented, good knowledge of Excel and Word
- You are flexible and stress resistant
