3E was established as a spin-off of IMEC in 1999. It acts as a gap-bridging company between RD&D centres and the market place to provide professional solutions for a step-wise evolution to a performing sustainable energy

The company counts about 70 employees and is growing steadily, ensuring a dynamic working environment. 3E operates from its offices in Brussels, Toulouse, Beijing and Istanbul and will continue to expand in other international locations in the coming years.

In order to consolidate our leading market position in wind energy expert services and renewable energy, we are looking for one
motivated new team members to join our wind energy team. With support of the other team members’ experience in wind energy resource
assessment and project development, your tasks will consist of:
- Study of the technical and economical feasibility of wind energy projects,
- Analysis of wind farm layouts, environment study
- Guidance to project developers in conception and realisation of wind energy projects

Profile:
- Trained as an industrial engineer, agricultural engineer or bachelor in
environmental sciences, or equivalent through experience
- Basic technical education and strong interest for renewable energies
- Between 1 and 5 years relevant work experience
- An experience in SIG, environmental permitting and spatial planning or similar technical background is an asset

- Very strong organisational capabilities
- Accurate with a strong eye for details
- Technical mindset combined with commercial flair
- Good presentation skills and ability to actively participate to discussion groups
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Analytical mind and innovative and creative spirit
- Very good interpersonal skills
- As the projects are based mainly in Flanders, fluent knowledge of Dutch (mother tongue level) is an absolute requirement. Good knowledge of English and/or French required. Knowledge of additional languages is an asset.

This position is based in Brussels Our offices are located near St Catherine in
1000, Brussel
