full time Solutions Sales Manager

The company Contigea is the Belgian sales subsidiary of the group Itron, a leading technology provider to the global energy and water industries. Itron is the world’s leading provider of intelligent metering, data collection and utility software solutions, with nearly 8,000 utilities worldwide relying on their technology to optimize the delivery and use of energy and water.

In order to strengthen the sales team of Contigea based in Brussels, we are looking for a (m/f): SOLUTIONS SALES MANAGER

Responsibilities:

• You will report to the Sales & Marketing Manager Electricity & Gas (E&G) Belgium;
• You will be responsible for the sales of systems and solutions, related to Smart Metering activities, for key accounts (Eandis, Ores, Sibelga, ALG, ALE, Infrax,…);
• You will concentrate on the Systems and Smart Metering Sales for all product lines, starting with E&G, and ideally including WH systems sales to position Itron as a leading coherent supplier in Belgium;
• You will manage contacts, presentations, systems and solutions portfolio, RFI qualification files, RFP, tenders redaction, negotiations with clients;
• You will be in charge of the marketing and partnership management in collaboration with product / projects managers and solutions teams (at Contigea and Itron group);
• You will also have to investigate market opportunities with new players (Telcos, IT Integrators) to position Itron Portfolio (HW & SW, Saturne, IEE).

Profile:

• Industrial Engineer, Master in IT or similar;
• A key sales & project manager attitude is required;
• Min 2 to 3 years experience in a technical and systems oriented sales & marketing environment;
• Preferably used to work with large companies in a complex process tender environment at European level;
• Ability to communicate in Dutch, French & English;
• Team player and excellent social and communication skills;
• Organized, autonomous with the sense of initiatives;
• Customer oriented and eager to sell.
