AUTOMATION ENGINEER


Job description

As an Automation Engineer you are responsible for drawing up the automation scope, both in commercial and in engineering phase, according to the specifications of the client and the current standards.

You are responsible for the price calculation and the choice of material on the basis of the tender documents, P&ID.

You are responsible for drawing up detailed functional descriptions as well as design documents (flow diagrams) for price inquiries to suppliers.

You are authorized to negotiate technical specifications with subcontractors and suppliers.

You are responsible for programming in the office and on the site, testing and starting up of the systems. In particular digital and analogue signals, bigger PLC Systems (e.g. Siemens S7) with SCADA for operator interface (e.g. iFix Intouch), DCS or supervision systems.

You contribute actively to the general safety on the site.

You provide active input for realizing and filling in the performance indicators of the department.


Profile

You have a degree in automation or equal through experience.

You have experience in programming PLC (Siemens S7, Siemens PCS7, Rockwell Automation RSLogix), DCS (Yokogawa DCS System, ABB DCS System) and SCADA (iFix Intouch, Wonderware’s Intouch).

Traveling abroad based on project requirements.
