Software Engineer (Java)


Job description:
As an innovative high-tech company, we are looking for a talented Java-developer that is eager to learn. Within the data management team you will play a key role in the development of the systems for capturing and processing scientific data. This includes a broad range of activities, ranging from backend development and GUI development (AJAX applications, SWING applications) to wireless devices and interaction with robotics devices.

You are familiar with the Linux or Microsoft operating systems and with Java. Hands-on experience with J2SE and Swing is a prerequisite; knowledge of J2EE is a plus. You are familiar with an IDE (preferably Eclipse), relational databases (SQLServer, MySQL), and XML technologies.


Profile:
You are a graduate in Informatics or higher. You know most frequently used operating systems (MS, Linux), and you are fluent in Java. An interest in science is a plus.
