IT Coordinator
(Ref. CSW2941)

Function

• You will be ensuring effective communication on all IT aspects to local users, local management, group management and corporate IT.
• You’ll give input to location management on all IT issues.
• Together with the IT Manager you’ll manage local IT issues and effective solutions.
• All hardware, software and IT services procurements are taken care off by you.

• You draw up requirements for improvements to business systems and work out associated
development through Central IT.
• You’ll run the end user acceptance tests of new solutions in JDE and Siebel.
• You work out proper documentation, training and guidance for all local end users.
• You take up an active role in testing and implementation of EDI and eCommerce projects.
• You provide first line Local Area Network support for the location (servers, Switches, Routers, WiFi).
• End users get support from you (PC: MS Office, VPN, etc.; Telephone system).
• You train end users on advanced applications on Excel, Access, JDE, Siebel, Zilliant.
• You assure daily back ups, antivirus checks and other security software.

• You’re the point of contact for the Wide Area Network services, which are managed centrally and
advise management on the best course of action with related issues.
• You’ll be reporting to the IT Manager.

Profile

• You have a good understanding of the JD Edwards Enterprise system’s Finance and Distribution modules. 2 years experience is desirable although applicants with experience of another enterprise system will be considered.
• The ideal candidate should also have experience in at least 2 of the following: Electronic Data Interchange (e.g. EDIFACT 850, XML), Telecommunications (voice and data networks), Local Area Networking (Ethernet), Wide Area Networking, Lotus Notes.
• You have a calm, constructive and methodical approach to managing and solving problems and a proven track record in an IT support position.
• You’re fluent in English, Dutch and French.

• Excellent inter-personal skills are a requirement.
