Optis is looking for motivated Senior Java Software Engineers to extend its young dynamic Java/WebSphere development team. As a more experienced consultant, you will be responsible to take the leading role on new development projects.

Education Level

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent by experience

Skills and experience

• Solid communications skills
• Demonstrated ability to design, program, test, and deploy software
• Ability to develop against relational models in databases such as MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle or DB2
• Strong interest in web application development (JSP, HTML, and JavaScript)
• Interested in learning and working with new technologies (Flex, Ajax, …)
• Good knowledge of core Java/J2EE

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn new information quickly
