Exchange Solution Architect (Brussels)



The Exchange Solution Architect is a consultative sales, technology and solution focused specialist who is responsible for the positioning of our clients portfolio in the field of Microsoft Exchange and more generally in Microsoft Unified Communications.

The Architect works in close collaboration with the Sales account managers to advice our customers on professional and efficient solutions. Through is expertise, the Architect creates great client intimacy and is viewed as a trusted technical advisor to the client.

As part of the Microsoft Line of Business, the Architect is also involved in the business development by defining the unique value proposition, creating market demand and enabling the sales team to develop opportunities.




Function:

Develop an understanding of our clients market positioning, vision and solution value add

Provide sales support and solution expertise on qualified opportunities including all managed service offerings specific to the practice

- Gather and analyse customer’s requirements and ensure that the technical solutions will accomplish the customer's objectives.

- Deliver the appropriate pre-sales documentation to include a Statement of Work, RFP responses, etc.

- Manage customer proof of concept (POC) initiatives, which will require the involvement of the appropriate resources, and setup and delivery of the POC.

Participate in strategic account planning teams for key clients… Work with Sales in a number of key accounts.

Own the proposed solution by playing a leading role in the delivery of key projects. Act as post-sales technical consultant in delivering consulting missions and studies.
Contribute to the development of the team competences through active technical coaching within project, trainings. Participate in building the delivery competencies so they are aligned with the strategy.

Closely follow the market and technology trends, evaluate different technology options. Analyse the associated business opportunities with the Line of Business management.
Take an active role in the development, definition, packaging and rollout of solutions in collaboration with the Business Development and according to the Line of Business strategy.

Guarantee that the Demo lab environment is at any time ready for customer visits and that its design, setup and configuration are aligned to the business strategy.

Maintain good relationship with Microsoft to ensure an understanding of the vendor’s products business/ technology positioning.




Requirements:

- Proven experience on delivery of Exchange architecture and design missions in pre-sales and post-sales.

- Industry recognized certifications (MCSE) or equivalent experience to support credibility

- Enthusiast and driven by the technology and its constant evolution. Ability to stay at the top in technology understanding

- Analytical, writing and presentation skills

- Motivation, coaching and leadership skills

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

- Sense of ownership/accountability

- Flexible and adaptable to meet the teams needs, Honest, hardworking and reliable

- Time management skills, ability to prioritise and multitask
