Job Description
The responsibilities will be:

- Analyze electrical component and PCB design options
- Define specifications and discuss with suppliers
- Provide expertise for electrical aspects of product designs for volume production
- Develop electrical test schemes and setups to verify product performance.
- Optimize design for cost, performance, power consumption, thermal behaviour and reliability
- Work together with the team to incorporate the constraints of the optical component.

Profile
For this function we are looking for a master in electronic engineering (PhD is a plus) with at least 3 years of experience in RF Electrical design for high data rate Telecom products:
- Strong fundamentals of transmission lines
- RF Design experience related to optical components at 10 Gbs speeds and working with TIA’s and laser drivers
- Transceiver design experience, including experience with TOSA and ROSA designs
- Experience in using 2-d and 3-d EM Tools
- Experience with high speed test equipment
- Test automation using Labview and Visual basics

We are looking for a candidate who takes initiative and is a real problem solver. He or she should be fluent in English while knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
