Editor – Content Manager EMEA (ref. : 7282)

Your Mission

You will be responsible for adapting, translating and localizing all FLIR Commercial Systems content supplied by Corporate Marketing to EMEA standards. You will create, deliver and distribute application stories, technical notes, articles and web content. You wil manage the literature fulfillment system. Duties and responsibilities include : translation of printed matter, online content, videos and advertising into various languages – seeing to it that all material is proofread in time by FLIR Systems sales force or by local distributors – writing and creating EMEA content and collaboration with PR for publication – liaising with translators and external agencies, including quality control and workflow coordination – performing other marketing jobs and supporting sales meetings, trade shows, press events etc.

Your Profile

To qualify for this role you must demonstrate relevant experience as editor, technical writer, content manager, copywriter or related. You have exceptional writing-, organizational- and administrative skills. You are able to interact with a wide group of people inside and outside the organization : Corporate Marketing, Translation Agencies, Distributors, Sales and Product Management. You have the ability to work in a technical environment and to understand technical products. You are autonomous with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You are excellent in English (written and oral). You are ready and flexible to travel intensively.

You will report directly to the Director of Marketing EMEA (Breda based).
