Career opportunity for experienced Telecom Management Consultants

Convergence is seeking exceptional individuals to be a Telecom Management Consultants (TMC) in Telecom Expense Management, who will be directly responsible for executing Convergence’s technology and management service offerings for Mid-Size and Large Corporate Customers. The Telecom Expense Management TMC’s will execute on Telecom Expense Management strategies and TEM programs, TEM Professional Solutions and TEMCare Managed Services for Enterprises, Government and Not-for-Profit organizations and this for new and existing customers. The Convergence TEM solutions include: Professional services in the areas of Telecom Contract Negotiations, TEM Assessments, and Auditing. Convergence’s TEMCare Total Telecom Service Lifecycle Management BPO services include: Invoice Processing, Mobility Lifecycle management, Fixed Voice and Data Communications TEM BPO solutions. This position requires someone who welcomes a challenge, has an entrepreneurial mindset and is extremely goal oriented. A strong telecom or general ICT and managerial background coupled with strong financial and analytics skills are critical. We are specifically looking for experienced senior Telecom Management professionals. This position is a salaried position but we also welcome candidates preferring an independent status or planning to work on a contractual basis.

Job Description: Convergence currently has openings for Telecom Management Consultants. This position involves data collection and analysis of client telecom traffic, billing and infrastructure information to determine baseline cost factors, compliance with existing contracts, and cost savings analysis in support of the company's Telecom Optimization software and Telecom Administrative Outsourcing services.

Telecom Management Consultant’s Responsibilities:

Project management and execution
Summarize contracts
File claims for clients with vendors
Audit invoices
Offer cost saving recommendations to clients
Offer optimization recommendations
Create reports
Build rapport with clients and vendors and maintain strong working relationships
Conduct contract compliance checks
Document all findings
Escalate client issues with vendors
Performs all other duties as assigned

Preferred skills: Bring your experience to make an impact

Strong Telecom background, particularly Local, Voice and Data (minimum of 3 years)
Good understanding of Telecom Expense Management (TEM) business processes and concepts
Billing and contract management experience
Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills (1-2 years experience)
Higher degree or equivalent experience
Excellent computer skills including MS Office Applications with emphasis in Excel, Access, Business Intelligence and Data Management are a +.
Web based collaboration experience.
Must work well in a fast paced dynamic environment
Analytical w/ strong problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
Detail Oriented
