Career opportunity for experienced Telemarketing Customer Sales Representative

Convergence is seeking result oriented individuals to be a Telemarketing Customer Sales Representative (CSR) in Telecom Expense Management, who will be directly responsible for generating leads for Convergence’s technology and management service offerings for Mid-Size and Large Corporate Customers. The Telemarketing Customer Sales Representative will execute outbound calling to book appointments for Convergence Sales Executives. Convergence offers Telecom Expense Management strategies and TEM programs, TEM Professional Solutions and TEMCare Managed Services for Enterprises, Government and Not-for-Profit organizations. The Convergence TEM solutions include: Professional services in the areas of Telecom Contract Negotiations, TEM Assessments, and Auditing. Convergence’s TEMCare Total Telecom Service Lifecycle Management BPO services include: Invoice Processing, Mobility Lifecycle management, Fixed Voice and Data Communications TEM BPO solutions. This position requires someone with acumen and persistence to connect with the right Telecom Expense Spend Category manager at target customers, has an entrepreneurial mindset and is extremely goal oriented. Experience in telecom or general ICT marketing and a background in high end service marketing are beneficial. We are specifically looking for skilled and experienced Service Marketing Sales Representatives. This position is a salaried position on a part time basis for up to 24 hours per week but we also welcome candidates preferring an independent status or planning to work on a contractual basis. Work can be performed from remote offices or from home.

Job Description: Convergence currently has openings for Telemarketing Customer Sales Representatives. This position involves prospect sourcing, lead generation, opportunity qualification and appointment setting with C-level management in Mid-Size and Large Organizations for our Telecom Expense Management Solutions and Services. Convergence’s TEM solutions include TEMSolutions Professional Services and TEMCare Managed Services.
The Telemarketer works closely with Marketing Management, Sales Executives and Business Development management.

Telemarketing Customer Sales Representative’s Responsibilities:

Commercial research in and maintenance of the CRM database
Cold calling to C-level executives assisted by CRM software
Prospect sourcing
Lead generation
Opportunity qualification
Secure qualified M-One “first contact meetings” for Sales Executives
Customer Relationship Management
Develop business relationships with C-level executives to ensure long-term partnerships
Introduce TEM concept and solutions to clients
Fluent in English and Dutch or French or any other European language (Check our career section for per country job openings)
Strong prospecting, time management, rejection and objection handling skills
Performs all other duties as assigned

Preferred skills:

Strong Telemarketing background, particularly in software and business optimization solutions to large organizations (minimum of 3 years)
Strong lead qualification experience
Outstanding telephone and customer service skills (1-2 years experience)
Higher degree or equivalent experience
Excellent computer skills including MS Office Applications
Must work well in a fast paced dynamic environment
Professionalism and aggressiveness in attaining set targets
Detail Oriented
