ILIAS Solutions develops and supports software applications that are specifically designed for the management of assets with a complex configuration, such as weapon systems. Today the ILIAS Solutions’ customer base entirely exists of Aerospace and Defence organisations, and the ILIAS applications are used for the daily support of fighter planes (F16), military transport planes (C130), helicopters, warships, tanks, armoured vehicles, etc. The ILIAS applications have proven themselves to be state-of-the-art, high-quality and integrated solutions for all needs in the field of operations, configuration, maintenance, procurement and inventory management.

At this moment ILIAS Solutions is in the process of designing and building a new generation of its products through a conversion from their current technology stack (Oracle) to a web application based on Adobe Flex technology as frontend, Java as middle tier and any database as backend.

In order to support new implementations and in the context of the new product generation ILIAS Solutions is currently looking for a


FUNCTIONAL ANALYST (M/F)


Job description
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications (UML diagrams, business rules, process flows and interfaces).
- Write functional documentation and test scenarios.
- Test newly developed software.

Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a technical or a functional analyst in a software development environment (knowledge of UML, familiar with the software development life cycle).
- Strong analytical mindset, fast learner.
- Constructive, pragmatic, common sense, team player.
- Willing to follow standard procedures and to use a common toolset.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- A functional background in defence, maintenance, logistics, procurement or inventory management processes is a plus, but not a must.
- Knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus, but not a must.
