Joico Zotos Europe (JZE), subsidiary of the American company Zotos International and member of the Shiseido group, sells and distributes premium, salon exclusive hair care products. Products are being sold through an independent distributor network in more than 30 countries. For Europe, the Middle-East and Africa, the headquarters is located in Helmond, the Netherlands. The business and the company itself have grown over the years. In order to support this growth and to further increase market share, they are looking for a:

DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (m/f)

Your function

As a Director of Business Development, you are responsible for all business development activities of JZE in the defined territory for Joico and Zotos brands. Your goal is to optimize the business setup by market and to further professionalize and assist the existing distributor network to facilitate and create growth.

Essential duties and responsibilities are:

• Lead, motivate and coach the Business Development team.
• Optimize business setup by market to enable further growth.
• Ensure adherence to all company procedures.
• Create and implement the sales strategy.
• Responsible for achieving the sales targets and locating new business opportunities.

• Full reporting on the development of the markets.

In this position you are member of the MT and report directly to the General Manager.

Your profile

• BSc., MSc. degree required in Commercial Economics, MBA or comparable practical experience.
• You have extensive experience (5-10 years) in a comparable position within an international B2B environment, preferably in the cosmetics, fashion or related industry.
• You have a strategic vision on sales and you are able to translate this vision into business development plans and strategy.
• You are prepared to travel about 50% of your time.
• You are a people manager who guides his team towards success within the defined company strategy.
• You can express yourself fluently in English and minimum 2 other international languages.

• You recognize yourself in the key words: analytical, pragmatic, hands-on, decisive, result oriented and sense for emotions.
