Key areas of responsibility:

• Establish and maintain a controlled, business and statutory, reporting & controlling environment within the Belux organization based on the KM F&A Directives & Guidelines as approved by the KM management, and working within the boundaries set by the KM/Sector and Philips Corporate F&A management and local law.
• Leads at team of 1 person in Finance who focuses on controlling, and business analysis.
• Works in close co-operation with shared service centers for F&A and SCM
• Acts as controller for the CS business for Benelux
• Acts as a business partner for the Belux management.
• The assistant Controller is responsible for the set-up and maintenance of the internal controls framework for the Belux organization.
• Is responsible for specific internal reporting needed to support the Belux organization. Is responsible for in- and external reporting for the Belux organization towards the KM/Cluster and GSS I management and the legal and fiscal authorities.
• Guards the budget levels as set in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Quarterly forecasts and monthly latest views on Belux level on behalf of the KM Director F&A/IT /Q&R Benelux.
• Acts as a sparring partner for the Belux management in deal structuring and other financial matters.
• Acts as team member in the CS Business line for Benelux. Conducts MBRM’s for CS in co-operation with the CS Business Line manager
• Is authorized to commit the organization within the boundaries of the agreed Annual Operating Plan for the maximum amounts described in the KM authorization grid.

Essential job requirements:

• Academic level in Finance.
• Professional with approx. 3 years experience
• Dutch, French & English language fluently in spoken word and writing.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office tools required
• Team player
• Knowledge of the SAP ERP system preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Belgian tax laws preferred.
• Language skills as stated earlier.
