Junior Key Account Manager Food & Electro
Key area’s of responsibility:
- Realise the salestarget for Food & Electro within your area. Visit current customers and build-out a sales network for Food & Electro. Prospect on a pro-active way in your distribution network.
- Responsible for the practical follow-up of the shopsituation within the Retailshops Food & Electro.
- Executes channel sales plan/program as set by the Channel leader.
- Drives, coordinates and monitors execution of the account plan for his/her account.
- Coordination of account specific sales activities and promotions, in line with marketing / brand management.
- Establishes and maintains personal relationships with relevant representatives of the National Key Account. Develops and builds relationships at the relevant network around the key account.
- Ensure proper and unified use of electronic sales tools and reporting.
- Analysis of competitors in the market, development of counter actions if needed.
- Ensure Philips is the preferred supplier by developing Lighting solutions and other services creating value for the account. Involves and professionally cooperates with internal partners (Customer Service, logistics, etc) to realize efficient and effective operations to reach full satisfaction of the customer.
- Understands complexity in value chain, manages various interests of different players in value chain (wholesalers, purchaser) including management of price waterfall.
- Work in close collaboration with marketing department.
- Identify new business opportunities and customer needs to ensure growth.
- Has authority and accountability to negotiate contracts and prices within the limits of the commercial policy
- Has direct accountability for Sales, Margin, delivery rate, distribution and Customer Satisfaction for his/her account
Profile:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Marketing (basic understanding of Finance and Logistics is important).
- 2 years experience with fast moving consumer goods or Consumer Durables is key.
- Good verbal and written communications in French, Dutch and English.
- Live in the central part of Belgium: 50% on the road and 50% office based Wommelgem/Brussels.
- Excellent negotiation & networking skills.
- Proven ability to deliver high quality results in a deadline-driven, high-pressure environment.
- High-energy professional who can multi-task and handle many different demands on his or her time, while staying focused on creating new, profitable sales within the channel.
- Pro-active team player with good communication & presentation skills.
- Conceptual and analytical, but with a hands-on attitude.
- Ability to understand and anticipate market dynamics.
- Strong drive for results.
- Excellent teamwork skills, pro-activeness and strong focus on relationship building.
