Our Client truly has developed unique selling propositions to address the market of Business Intelligence, in particular in the fields of Analytical CRM, sales optimization, risk scoring, and the whole space of business decision optimization. Their propositions combine software components and consulting services, sold as turn-key solutions towards clients. Their current clients are mainly in the financial, Telco and Retail sector. Your objective will be to quickly develop a commercial approach capable of leveraging their UPS and sustaining the strong sales objectives of the company.

Job description :

Reporting to the Partner in charge of the business development, you will be based in Brussels and will cover mainly the Benelux development but could be also involved in sales in Europe.
Your main role will be to improve sales effectiveness, to close new deals in the Business Intelligence market where our client owns a considerable competitive advantage.

This implies :

•Developing the Sales speech, supports, processes and arguments for closing deals;
•Developing new Business and revenue flow in the Benelux mainly and in Europe, in different sectors such as Bank, Insurance, Telco, Retail, FMCG, etc.;
•Representing the company and its unique selling propositions to senior level contacts within potential B2B and B2C clients or markets;
•Ensuring profitability of current/new Business;
•Building and strengthening relationships with (potential) customers by managing answers to RFP’s, cold calling, networking, organization of client events, mails,…

You will contribute to achieving revenue targets mainly through new revenues. Furthermore, you will play a key role in the production / execution of the sales / marketing strategy implementation in close collaboration with the Partners in the company.

Profile:

•You have a deep understanding of the BI area
•You have already a good network on the business side in the Financial, Retail, or some other sector where BI is key
•You have the ability to listen and understand the client’s needs: we sell solutions and hence you must be able to identify what can be done for the client (you will use a pull approach instead of a push one)
•You have a University degree that can justify your capacity to meet the needed skills for achieving the above mentioned targets.
•A solid commercial experience specifically in Business Intelligence market.
•You are Self-motivated, goal-oriented, flexible, able to deliver on time.
•Fluent in written and verbal French, Dutch and English.
•Ready to travel regularly in Europe.

You will also need :

•Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and organizational skills
•Ability to deal with clients at a senior level, to understand and to respond effectively to clients needs, to operate independently while staying as a team player.
•Ability to sell complex solutions to senior management and map those solutions with their needs.
•Ability to use initiatives and judge when to escalade problems.
