Key areas of responsibility:

• Responsible to install and to manage a global team of project managers.
• He/she hires, trains and coaches project managers.
• Responsible to define the way of working for the integral project managers.
• Implements new project management tools, such as traffic light reporting.
• He/she takes the lead to get support from all functional groups on integral project management approach.
• Part of the team to define and to improve the integrated Product Creation Process.
• In his team the project managers are responsible to define the project in terms of desired output and the conditions on budget, timing and risk management.
• Project managers negotiate with (functional) management and specialists to come to a detailed definition of activities, risks, resource allocation and planning.
• Overall responsible for the deliverables of the projects as agreed in the contract book (quality, timing, specs, budget).
• Organizes relevant communication outside the project team (milestone, progress reporting, escalation).
• Takes care of final project evaluation and main lessons learnt as input for continuous learning.


Essential job requirements:
• You have a master degree in a technical environment: Civil or Industrial Engineer
• You have a lot of experience in projectmanagement within several domains/you are a born projectmanager
• You are able to drive change
• You communicate fluently in English and Dutch
• You have affinity and experience with Consumer Electronics (means a plus)
• You have a consistent behavior in a dynamic and flexible environment
• You have the ability to analyze, steer and report issues
• You are a solid personality, who can convince others by facts and figures
• You are accurate and deliver quality work
• You can work well in teams, good co-operation with others
• You are capable to operate on different levels in the organisation
• You can overlook complex structures and problems with a helicopterview
• You are driven for results
