The co-ordination centre of Avnet Europe is based in Brussels (Diegem). The European tax department takes care of about 100 active companies all over Europe, Middle-East and South Africa. In order to increase its efficiency the Tax department needs an additional tax specialist. The goal of the department is to acquire a high level of international tax knowledge and responsibility within the Avnet group to be able to provide practical tax advice to the business.

Function
To support the current growth, you will be part of the Tax Department in Belgium.

The job consists of tax reporting (quarterly and yearly) and assisting in transfer pricing documentation projects and VAT checks.

You will also prepare intercompany recharges.

Further more, you will be responsible for ad hoc analysis on facts and figures, asked by the business or the tax managers.

Profile
To perform this function successfully, you need a bachelor degree in accounting and/or finance with interests in taxes. Preferable you worked a few years in a job with exposure to VAT and international tax. Also starters can apply.
You are fluent in English combined with French and/or Dutch.

You distinguish yourself by your analytical ability, a systematic accurate approach and team spirit.
